1. Completion of the Professional Tennis Coaches Academy
2. A 100-question written exam covering business and instruction
3. A stroke analysis and tennis grips exam
4. A playing exam
5. An on-court exam that requires teaching a private and a group lesson.

VOLLEYBALL PLAY DAYS
Saturday playdays are outdoors at the Oak Ridge High School tennis courts from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Parking at the High School can be found at 1450 Oak Ridge Turnpike.
TENNIS CLINICS & PLAYDAYS
AUGUST TO MAY WEDNESDAY CLINICS: Middle school and elementary age 2:30 to 3:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Country Club.
SUMMER WEEKDAY CLINICS: Youth will use the tennis courts at the Oak Ridge High School, the site located during summer vacation and fall break. Youth ages 7 to 10 will
meet from 8:30 to 9:30 AM; ages 10 to 14 meet from 10:00 to 11:00 AM; and
players ages 13 to 17 meet from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Clinics will be held at
the Oak Ridge High School tennis courts. Morning clinics are scheduled for:
June 25, 26, 27, 28, 29; July 2, 3, 5, 6; July 30, 31, August 1, 2, 3; August 6, 7, 8, 9,
10. Clinics are also available the mornings of - October 22, 23, 24, 25,
26.
SATURDAY PLAY DAYS: An instructional session and competition will be conducted every Saturday March thru November from 10:00 to 11:30 AM on the tennis courts located at the Oak Ridge High School, 1450 Oak Ridge Turnpike. If the school's parking lot is full, there is parking at the Oak Ridge Civic Center, 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike,
Oak Ridge. The tennis courts are directly across the Turnpike from
the Center's parking lot. You'll see the Oak Ridge High School and a
soccer field in the distance behind the tennis courts. Arrive at 9:45 if you're a first time participant and find the registration table on Court #3.
SUNDAY PLAY DAYS: An instructional session and competition will be conducted on select Sundays March thru November from 4:00 to 5:30 PM on the tennis
courts located at the Oak Ridge High School.
